“One of those hadith is Narrated Muhammad bin Ka’b Al-Qurazi:

“I heard ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.”

2. Recitation of Quranic surahs During Prayer

Let your kid memorize the short surahs, included in juz amma like AL-kawthar, Al-Nas, and Al-Ikhlas since he will use them during prayer.

Even if he didn’t reach puberty when prayer is an imperative ritual, he should memorize some surahs, that’ll prepare him for performing prayer, so salat won’t be hard when he grows an adult.

And Prophet Mohammed was teaching Quran to children and adults alike, and we can conclude that from the narration of Ibn Abbas, one of the renowned Muslim scholars, saying
