Surah Yaseen is one of the great surahs in the holy Quran that any Muslim should read it, especially when feeling that he needs something.
No doubt that all qur’anic surahs are cures for heart diseases.
However, this surah especially has occupied a great significance and has been called the heart of quran for it includes great lessons, messages, and replies to the disbeliever’s claims and invalid arguments

They’re many reasons written about why surah yasin is revealed
The most important reason is reported by ibn Naeem and derived from Ibn Abbas that the prophet Muhammad was praying publicly and the disbelievers in Mecca were hearing him and they decided to harm him
so allah almighty protected his holy prophet and made them blind, as a punishment for them, so they came to the prophet and pleaded with him to return their sight, and the prophet prayed to him so they can see again,
This story was concluded in this verse of surah Yaseen.
“and have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and covered them ˹all˺ up, so they fail to see ˹the truth˺. Yasin, 9
” And They Argue with Us—forgetting They Were Created—saying, “who Will Give Life to Decayed Bones?
ibn Jarīr mentioned in his book that Al-As ibn Wa’il , one of the well-known disbelievers in Mecca came to prophet Mohammed, carrying some bones, then he smashed them and ask the prophet:
O, Mohammed, will Allah resurrect those bones after their decay?
So, allah give the answer for him in Quran in the following verse:
Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing.” (Yaseen, 79).

There are benefits of reading surah Yaseen. and many hadiths that present the virtues for reading it However, not all of the virtues we’ll mention below have evidence from Quran or sunnah. For example, you can see some information that reciting surah Yasin is more important in fajar.
but there is no hadith about that confirms that. But in general, reciting the quran, including surah Yaseen in fajr is a virtuous deed… So here are the benefits of surah yaseen below, with only the hadiths we ensure its authenticity.
Muslim scholars agree that reciting the quran atones for sins, and reciting surah yaseen was mentioned in many hadith as expiation for the wrong deeds.
Ma’qil b. Yasār al-Muzanī reported the Prophet as saying, “If anyone recites Yā’ Sīn (Qur’ān, 36) out of a desire for God’s favor, his past sins will be forgiven him
The majority of muslim scholars hold that reciting surah yaseen is sunnah mercy for the person about to die, and they took evidence in many hadiths attributed to the prophet mohammed
And one of those hadith Narrated by Ma’qil ibn Yasar, says:
Reciting this surah has many benefits, including fulfilling your need such as pregnancy or marriage or easing your problems
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Recite Surah Ya-Sin over your dying men. (Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah transmitted it)
It’s also a good omen for the dying person for paradise and the good end in the hereafter, as the good believer whose story mentioned in this surah
(Eventually, they killed him and he was told): “Enter Paradise.” The man exclaimed: “Would that my people knew (Yaseen, 26).
Ibn Kathir mentioned in his book that reciting this surah has a great impact on fulfilling your needs., achieving your wishes, driving away your stresses and worries, and treating your disease
‘atā B. Abū Rabāh Told of Hearing that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Whoever recites Surah Yaseen in the morning, Allah Almighty will be responsible for fulfilling all his needs.”
So, if you want something specific like marriage or pregnancy or getting a job, you can recite this surah anytime and then pray to allah to fulfill your need. The second way you can do this is to read the seven verses that end with the word مبين seven times
And it’s not a condition to read it only on Friday.
Reciting surah yaseen is also a cure for your heart and eases your problems and worries. (however, it’s a must to show that there is no evidence in the sunnah or quran that tell this fact, and most of what was written about the virtues
You can also read this dua after reciting this surah and supplicate to allah to provide you with calm and peace.
“O Allah, You have made (Yasin) a cure for those who read it and for whom it was recited, a thousand healings, a thousand medicines, a thousand blessings, a thousand mercy, and a thousand blessings, and you named it by the tongue of your Prophet, It’s prevailing that guarantee for its reciter the good in life and thereafter and it’s a defender that keeps every harm or sadness away. O, allah keep us safely away from the two shames: poverty and indebtedness.
Surah yaseen was named by the heart of the quran due to a hadith famous among people though it’s considered da’if .
Anas reported God’s messenger as saying, “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’ān is Yā Sīn (Qur’ān, 36). God will record anyone who recites Yā Sīn as having recited the Qur’ān ten times.”
And the reason behind this name is it includes all the meanings of the Quran and presents the catalysts of the day of judgment, including resurrection, gathering, paradise, and fire, and it includes many parables and evidence that attest to the existence of Allah.

Surah Yaseen Includes Some of The Great Lessons that Will Strengthen Your Faith in Allah
“And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness. And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. And the moon – We have determined its phases until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk. ( Yaseen, 37-39)
“That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn. (Yaseen, 65),
It is worth noting that there is no specific time at which scholars and sheikhs have agreed to read any surah of the Qur’an, as it can be read at any time.
There are many ways to memorize surah Yaseen. Some people prefer to listen to the recitation of the surah and then repeat it after the recitation. Others prefer to read the surah slowly and carefully, and then recite it from memory. Still, others prefer to use a combination of both methods. Whichever method you choose, be sure to practice regularly in order to commit the surah to memory.
One of the most effective methods is to break the surah down into smaller sections and memorize one section at a time. Start by reading the section out loud several times until you have memorized it, then move on to the next section. Repeat this process until you have memorized the entire surah.
