Step 1: Choose a Method that Works For You

There is no one specific way to read and complete reciting the Quran. Some people prefer to complete a few Juz of the Quran by a fixed deadline, while others allocate specific times along the day to recite it. However, it’s more rewarding if you set a daily amount of reading.

Since Quran consists of 30 juz, it’s more likely to read it in 10 days if you read at least 3 juz every day. You can either read all of them in a specific period from the maghrib to Isha or read one juz every alternate prayer.

Step 2: Start with The Right Intention

Every good act should be inspired by a sincere intention that you do it for seeking Allah’s pleasure, not for vanity or hypocrisy.. and the aim of Ramadan is to increase faithfulness and sincerity as the prophet s.a.w said, “verily, actions are by intentions and every person will attain what they have intended for.”

So, Make sure your intentions are righteous before starting to read the Quran. And whenever you pick up the mushaf, purify your heart and say:

“O Allah, make all our deeds righteous and pure for your honorable face, and do not make any of them for the people, nor for the devil a share in them, and accept them, our Lord.

Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression. And be mindful of Allah. Surely Allah is severe in punishment. (surah ma’idah ayat 2)

Here are short ideas on how to make Quran buddies:

  • Find a Quran buddy to help you learn and understand the Quran.
  • Connect with siblings or friends who are known for their connection to the Quran.
  • Announce your goal with your connections in the masjid
  • Participate in Whatsapp groups for memorizing Quran

Step 4: Use Your Leisure Time for Reciting The Quran

Reciting the Quran is a great way to spend your leisure time. It is a relaxing and rewarding activity that can help you learn more about your faith.

It can also be a great way to connect with other Muslims who share your love of the Quran

Just keep your eyes on the activities that are wasting your time with no value in return, and cut them out of your day, thus, you can start reciting Quran as a replacement for those non-productive activities.

Step 5 Make a reading chart

By making a Quran recitation chart, you can track your progress and improve your recitation.

If you didn’t draw your recitation chart, you can apply this one.

Step 6: Divide the pages

There is another way you can follow to complete the quran in 10 days and depends on the number of pages.

The number of pages of the Noble Qur’an is 604 pages. If you read 6 pages before each prayer and 6 after it, then you’ll be reading twelve pages.

If you multiply this number by the number of prayers, which is five (12*5), then you’ll read sixty pages daily. So, you can complete the Qur’an in ten days, as the remaining four pages contain short Qur’anic surahs that can be read after the last prayer on the tenth day.

Step 7: Read at Regular Timings

To be more punctual, try to recite the Quran at certain fixed times every day.

For example, you can set the early hours in the morning to read the Quran or make use of the time after isha to complete the three juz in Qiam prayers.

And If you followed the second way of reading by pages, you’ll be able to set a regular timing more easily.

Step 8: Read the Dua for Completing Reciting

After each time for reciting the holy book, read this dua:

“Oh Allah, have mercy on me with the Qur’an and make it for me a leader, a light, guidance, and mercy… Oh, Allah remind me what I forgot of it and teach me what I did not know, and grant me its recitation during the night and the ends of the day”
